GarageGames has just released T3D 1.1. Are there any plans for a release of the 3daak for T3D 1.1 final?

We'll hopefully be releasing a 3DAAK update for T3D 1.1 sometime in the next couple weeks. We'll send out an email to let you know when it's available :)

Yes, our policy on upgrading is that you are only required to pay the difference in license prices. For kit license upgrades, simply email us directly and we will arrange the upgrade for you :)

I was wondering if you could give us a general time frame for when the 1.1 final version will be out as I'm putting off some major changes to my current project untill then so any time frame would be useful.

Hi Lewis,
I'm sorry - I had sort of intended to have this done already. It's a pretty busy time for me as I'm finishing up / defending my masters thesis this month. I'll need a break from writing soon though, and a little coding will make a nice change :)
Assuming it's not substantially more work than I expect, let's say 1 more week (by Friday July 8th).

As promised, the 3D Action Adventure Kit for T3D 1.1 is ready. Check the Your Downloads link on the left :)
Let me know if you have any problems with it.
EDIT: If you purchased through the Garage Games store you'll need to be patient as we get it uploaded there. I've emailed my contact, but it won't happen until Monday at the earliest. If you need it sooner, send us an email and we can work something out :)

Been waiting for this! (the 3DAAK - not the babies!) LoL.

[edit] FYI: I've just noticed that I get an error with one of the files when trying to unzip the kit. "tutorial_structure_piazza_floor_ramp.csx". The actual installers still work despite the error though after unzipping.

I am having some trouble with the download. I have tried both methods, "open" and "save", of downloading from my download area. Both methods result in downloading an unrecognizable file. Please advise on the faux pas am I might be doing to cause this.

What browser are you currently using? We've had similar issues reported by other people and trying a different browser resolved it for some reason. We investigated into the reason for this but could not find what was causing it.
I'd suggest trying another browser first and if that doesn't work, we'll get you a direct download link.

I was using IE, but will try a different to see if it solves the trouble. Will keep you posted.

The only download link I have is for the melee patch :
I tried seeing if GG was updated and it shows '3D Action Adventure Kit for T3D 2011-07-08', but the link to the download is dead.

I've just been told it's available now on garagegames.com. Their whole website seems to be down at the moment though so I haven't been able to try it myself.
EDIT: Their website is back up now, but I'm getting the same "broken link" problem Muro reported. I've emailed them about it... stay tuned.
